Netflix Star Crystal Stewart to Host Summer Sizzle
It’s another year of glamor and high fashion as Summer Sizzle gets underway from July 15-20th. This year marks the 16th Anniversary of what is dubbed the Premier Fashion and Lifestyle Destination Experience.
The milestone edition will be a showcase of Fashion, Music, Art and Culture in the British Virgin Islands. There is no better way to spark up the summer season than with this influx of New York and BVI models and local and international fashion designers.The show is organized by Terry Donovan, a BVI fashionista who has a long history in the New York fashion industry.
Topping the marquee at the 2026 edition of Summer Sizzle is this year’s celebrity host Crystle Stewart. Stewart stars as Mallory in Tyler Perry’s Netflix global hit Beauty in Black, portraying one of the series’ most unforgettable and talked-about characters.
The series debuted as the #1 English-language television show on Netflix globally, generating more than 8.7 million views and 57.4 million viewing hours in its first week. Now in its second season, Beauty in Black continues to captivate audiences with its exploration of power, ambition, family, and betrayal within a high-stakes beauty empire.
Stewart is also known for her leading roles in For Better or Worse and Too Close to Home, as well as appearances in Tyler Perry’s films Acrimony and Good Deeds.
Beyond acting, Stewart has built a multifaceted career as a television personality, entrepreneur, speaker, and advocate for women and girls. Since being crowned Miss USA in 2008, she has used her platform to inspire and empower young women through conversations centered on confidence, purpose, leadership, self-worth, and personal growth. Through her work on screen and in communities across the country, she continues to champion the idea that beauty, ambition, and service can coexist, encouraging the next generation of women to lead boldly and authentically.
This year’s schedule of events includes a variety of activities from gourmet dinners to hiking and sailing excursions. Capping it all off is the Global Glamour Runway Show, emceed by Crystal. It is a not to be missed lineup.
