Sweethearts of the Caribbean and Classic Yacht regattas

Also on the upcoming racing calendar is the West End Yacht Club’s popular racing event, the Sweetheart’s of the Caribbean. In its 46th year which, the Sweethearts is combined with the 42nd annual Classic Yacht Regatta. The original Sweetheart’s Regatta was a showcase for the Caribbean’s magnificent schooners, but as these classic beauties have diminished both events are now open to all types of sailing vessels. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 14th with registration at the Club’s clubhouse at Omar’s Fusion on Frenchman’s Cay off Tortola’s West End.

Don’t miss this fun and casual event that is as much about camaraderie as it is about trophies. Be part of a sailing tradition that has originated out of western Tortola for over four decades.
